CSS Release in Review-An Apple for Teacher

Release in Review week continues at Clear and Simple Stamps with a look at the Perfect Harvest grouping. I made a sweet seasonal teacher set with the Perfect Harvest and Perfect Harvest Filler stamp sets and matching Mini Fruit dies.

Here’s the card, based on this week’s sketch from Retro Sketches. I scaled down the design a bit, making a 4 ¼” square card and using a die cut tag for the decorative edged strip that runs down the right side of the card. The tag is layered over a piece of green checked cardstock that’s topped with half of a paper doily. I stamped “you are the best teacher,” using a combination of sentiments from several of the Rag Doll sets on a white Favor Flags die cut strip and added that at the bottom of the tag. A small apple, die cut with one of the Mini Fruit dies and stamped with matching images from the Perfect Harvest and Perfect Harvest Fillers set, sits at the end of the tag.

The card coordinates with a small tag I made to dress up a package of homemade caramel dip. The dip’s packaged in a cute mini mason jar. I set an apple on top of the jar and placed the goodies in a cello bag, then added a cute tag I designed to coordinate with the card. The kraft tag is a trimmed down Tags 1 die cut piece. I used the same green checked paper and a red cardstock strip for the tag and added a die cut stamped apple, too. I stamped “a sweet treat for you” next to the apple in brown ink, then attached the tag to the cello bag with some hemp twine.

Be sure to check out what the rest of the CSS design team has created with the stamps and dies in the Perfect Harvest grouping. Here’s where to find them:
