Sprinkled with Lots of Fun

Here's my card for the current challenge at Sunday Stamps.  I used the sketch for a super sweet donut themed birthday card.

Sprinkled with Lots of Fun card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps from Reverse Confetti
I built the card on a kraft card base covered with some pretty pink striped patterned paper.  I used the same colors for the layered banner strip extending down from the top of the cardfront.  The layout's round panel is represented by a donut--yum!  The donut was made with Reverse Confetti's Donut You Know stamps and dies.  I layered a pink piece (icing) over a kraft piece to form the donut.  The sprinkles were heat embossed with white embossing powder to give them a little dimension. After adding the donut to the cardfront using foam tape, I stamped the birthday sentiment next to the banner strips. Fortunately, there was just enough room for the text block to fit!

Materials Used:
Donut You Know stamp set, Piggy Bank cardstock, True Love 6x6 paper pad, Donut You Know dies (Reverse Confetti); Memento Tuxedo Black and Memento Luxe Wedding Dress inks (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Kraft cardstock (Papertrey Ink); Recollections Snow embossing powder (Michaels); Die-namics Fishtail Flag STAX and Fishtail Flag STAX Layers dies (My Favorite Things); foam tape
