Sending Love

Sending Love card-designed by Lori Tecler/Inking Aloud-stamps and dies from Lil' Inker Designs
Here's my card for the current sketch at Freshly Made Sketches.  I'm skipping ahead a holiday or two with this love themed design using stamps and dies from Lil' Inker Designs

I represented the trio of elements in each corner of the sketch with a die cut envelope and a pair of red stitched hearts.  The hearts were adhered with foam tape for dimension.  For the sentiment I used a combination of die cuts and stamps.  The "sending" from the Mini Envelopes and Accessories die set was cut from red cardstock and adhered to the center of the pink panel.  I stamped the "love" from the "love and peace" sentiment from the Instant Camera: Christmas set beneath the die cut word in red.  I liked the contrast between the lines of the typewriter style print and the curves of the cursive die cut.  For a touch of sparkle, I arranged a trio of silver sequins around the panel, then adhered it to a red card base.

Materials Used:
Instant Camera:  Christmas stamp set, Of the Heart and Mini Envelopes and Accessories dies (Lil' Inker Designs); Memento Rhubarb Stalk ink (Tsukineko/IMAGINE Crafts); Pink Pirouette and Cherry Cobbler cardstock (Stampin' Up!); silver sequins; foam tape
